I have the other drills in this 12V Bosch series; been real happy with their performance. I actually prefer 12V where the work does not require greater power. I have plaster walls that require a hammer drill and masonry bits for clean work; 18V Dewalt drill is ok but overkill for most of the work. Also, other 12V drills in Bosch series do not have a chuck. Wanted this drill for a while so I ordered it when I decided to add shelves in garage with plaster walls and ceiling. Worked great for small diameter test holes to locate studs, then slightly larger holes at studs before using wood drill bit. I mostly bought for the hammer drill option, but I am sure the other drill modes will come in handy over time. I would say this drill is indispensable for someone with plaster walls. Very light and balanced, and smaller size easily gets into tighter spaces where my other drills were difficult to use. Only problem I experienced was chuck came loose a couple of times in hammer mode, but additional tightening seemed to solve that problem. Very happy with drill, and all my other Bosch products.

I have had this drill driver for a couple months now. I enjoy using the tool. The batter holds a good charge and recharges in 30 minutes. I am a building maintainer so I work on different things. I have used it as a driver as it has multiple settings. The drill holds up for its size and rating. I use it for mixing paint as well. The drill also has a high and low setting that comes in handy. It’s gear driven so you can feel the torque for its size. The tool is rated for cold weather also. I just love the size it will fit in tight spots to screw various objects.

Bought this last year before Christmas, since my other cordless drill didn’t hold a charge very well. Bought a FL10A flashlight with it as well. I use it for around the house and yard work. battery holds a charge forever, I’ve never had a case when I’ve picked it up and the battery was dead, lots of torque, a few times I used it to tighten screws I over did it. Used it to drill a 1″ hole through three 2×4’s for electrical work, didn’t ever skip a heartbeat. used the spare battery with the flashlight which is now my go to flashlight. It’s brighter then my maglight and much more handy. Would recommend this to anyone that wants an all in one drill, screwdriver and hammer drill. No quality issues to far, looking forward to buying other 12 volt tools.

The tool just fit in your hand, very light weight, but yet plenty of power.
I used it to drill 8 holes in 1/4 thick ceramic and stone tiles – the 2, 2 mAh batteries were enough to finish the job. I did buy Bosch multi-surface bits as the chipper ones I had couldn’t do anything (using small diameter 1st, then the larger 5/16). The drill performed well, in line with the other tools I have from the 12 vMax line of Bosch.
I’d not just recommend this tool to a friend, I’ll brag about it and make them dream for it!

I tinker around the house and wanted a cordless drill with guts but not the weight. This little drill is it! Powerful, yet light and very easy to maneuver. It holds a charge and it’s carrying case makes it easy to keep everything in one place. I have had it for a little over a year and so far so good. If I only had one thing negative thing to say about it, it’s that sometimes the bits come loose and you have re-tighten. But for all the great things I get from it, this is a small nuisance I can handle.

Can only hope it last as long as my 12 volt reciprocater has lasted. Going on 8 yrs with original batteries an i use it multiple times a week. This will get same usage if it will take it

I am a tradesman doing remodels, refurbish and restorations. I bought my first 12v PS130-2A a several years ago. Since then have purchased 2 or 3 more for my business and personal needs. This is a great compact, light weight and durable drill/driver. At this point ALL are doing well and I am very pleased with the investment I made in Bosch. I also own use the 12v oscillator and use it as much as my drill. With the use of a universal adapter I can find a blade for most any application.

I received my new Bosch PS130 last week and am very impressed with it. I have used the Milwaukee M12 Hammer Drill and the specs are very similar however the drill feels so much more compact and light. The control ring works great and when you are out of hammer mode the chuck locks the hammer motion out unlike the Milwaukee. This makes the drill more controllable while doing detail work. Great feature! I love this tool and will expand my line! Thanks Bosch!

This is a very handy tool to have for everyday general-purpose use. It’s lightweight and compact, but still powerful enough to handle most jobs with ease. I remodeled a bathroom and this drill was up to the task. The nice feature is having the battery inside the handle making the drill very comfortable to work with. Battery life is excellent. I haven’t tried the hammer drill feature on concrete, but I assume it would be fine for small jobs.

I purched this drill for our maintenance shop at work and loved it so well I bought one for home. It is great for small concrete anchors, tek screws, lag bolts. I could go on and on. It replaced a 14.4 drill that didn’t hold a candle to this drill. You can’t believe the torque this drill has. It will twist your arm… If you have a need for a light weight drill get this one.

  17. Lopab

I have had this drill now since March and I can honestly say that it has the best build quality and performance of any other cordless drill I have ever used. The battery is powerful and lasts a long time. The compact size makes it easy to use in many applications and it works flawlessly. I look forward to replacing my power tools in the future with Bosch. 🙂

I bought this over a year ago. I do not use it for commercial projects.
I use it to install tap-cons. Drive 9 x 3″ deck screws. Hang drywall. It’s light and easy to handle. The light is nice.
Batteries have a decent run time.
My only gripe is the chuck. I have a hard time getting it to tighten enough on the bit.
Many time my bits loosen and fall out.

  19. PeterM

I purchased this drill for small jobs but I never seem to pull out my corded drill any more. I have had other cordless drills but the battery life and quick charge on this one is far better than any others I have used. The headlight is a fantastic feature as well… all in all this is a very well thought out product and far exceeded my expectations.

  20. SpaBuilder

Design and functions were solid. The trigger mechanism, not so much. The trigger mechanism went out, just like my last one, only faster with this newer model. It is an everyday, multiple operations. Battery held up great as well. Just that trigger mechanism is a flaw.

i used this tool everyday at work for the last 6 month  very good drill!!
i dont know many 12v drills that can pack a good punch with control and comfort
only complaint i have is about my bosh bag not holding very well are 6 months

  22. Kristoff Electric

Great drill. I can drill , install screws and hammerdrill in concrete and install tapcons with one drill . I do not need additional tools. Great warranty and warranty includes commercial work, not like some tool companies.

  23. Dougdog

At first I was skeptical with the hammer drill feature and I was sooooo wrong. This tool perform like a charm. Don’t expect to have performance as a high end wired drill but for house DIY stuff it’s more than enough
