I bought this small compressor for limited uses. One, to blow out our lint filters from our clothes dryer.
The second, to inflate tires and the like.
I love the idea you do not have to have any oil in the compressor itself which makes it pretty carefree except for the occasional draining of water in the tank, which is normal, for all air compressors.
I only wish the pressure would be constant for a bit longer than it is when I am blowing off the filter.
The unit is compact and easy to carry from one place to another.
Overall, it suits my needs. And I’m glad to have it available at a moments notice.
The price is very, very reasonable.

I ordered this, it took one week to arrive to my home in Ms. from California. FEDEX ground delivered it upside down. I wish carried them in the stores, but then they’d never be able to sell the other brands.
The unit was undamaged, worked as advertised and is by far the quietest compressor I’ve ever seen or owned. I called a neighbor over to see for himself, he was impressed as well. All other compressors are just plain garbage compared to these. I’ve not needed to use mine yet but I can assure you in a minute or less the compressor got up to 80 psi.
Don’t waste your money on a loud one, buy this brand, you won’t be sorry.

nice compressor BUT either it was dropped in delivery(the box was not damaged) or when it was put together one of the metal “legs” was bent up about 1/4″ so I put about 3-4 washers between the “leg” and the rubber foot so it would not shake, rattle, or roll when it was compressing air. Also where the handle connects to the tank there are 2 allen set screws tightened down one was about 30 degrees from straight up and down so luckily i had a metric tap and chased the hole and re-inserted in the up down position.

I LOVE this air compressor! My first one was the cheap little harbor freight 3gal pankake. It was unbelievably loud! This one is so quiet it can come on late at night in my driveway and the neighbors wont hear it. Ive used it with people sleeping and it didnt wake them.
My setup: took a small computer server cart, added an 8 gal auxillary tank and attatched a 50ft roll up hose. With it in the cart on wheels I took the handle off because the loudest noise was the handle shaking when the motor was running. With the added air tank, I adjusted the pressure switch to cut out at 90psi instead of 120. The motor is happier and I always have plenty of air. Another benefit to lower psi is moisture. I live in Northern California and have never had a drop of water come out of the drain. I took a whole house filter and filled it witth

I haven’t used it much, but what I’ve done tells me the following:

When I saw the description saying it was quiet, I figured it would be like every other tool I’ve owned that had the same claim; quieter than some, but still too loud to use without hearing protection.

Nope: It really is super-quiet, and it doesn’t get “out of breath” easily.

  6. Marl X

so quiet, gives good air pressure not pressure in life.

I can’t speak to long term durability yet, but so far very impressed. It’s legit quiet. Similar to my 1 gal Hitachi compressor for inside finish work. Yes, you can get more cfm and higher pressure models, but this will keep up with any nailer I have and then some. Impressive, particularly for the price.

  8. KennyD

This compressor is great. Lots of steady pressure, very quiet refilling of tank.

  9. motormm

Very quiet compared to my older unit, and doesn’t leak.

  10. John

Really quiet. From empty to full less than 2 minutes.
