[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very satisfied with this reciprocating saw for use around the home and back yard. I rate this saw 4/5 as it isn’t as hardcore as my work saw by another manufacturer in red, it certainly is more affordable price wise. It isn’t a daily use item but checks the boxes for my needs as a reliable tool. One word of caution I would advise is around the reciprocating end with the blade is that it is easy for a finger to get into the guard area and bruise a finger against the bit that holds the blade.

  2. Do it myself if I can

This is a complete package. It came with a saw, battery & charger. Once I charged the battery, I used it to cut branches and vines that were 2 inches thick with ease.

Product is worth the $. It is not heavy so it is easy to handle, but powerful. Craftsman’s products are a good buy.

So ive tried using this several times and it will not cut through anything without stopping over and over about every inch or so i have to release and repress trigger. The only tools out of the 5 tool kit i bought that work good is the drills and circular saw. The oscillating tool does have any power and first use somehow locked up every time i pushed the trigger made this wirring sound. I got it working again with some lighttaps to the underside of the tool.

For some reason the saw will stop working as soon as there is some force applied to the saw or if the blade binds a little. I have to constantly release the trigger and press it again to start cutting again . This is a horrible feature it seems as its either quite common or it’s built into the saws circuitry judging by the other reviews.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this saw about a year now and it doesn’t disappoint. I’ve dropped it and accidentally left it outside in a lite rain. It still keeps working great. Battery lasts long and the whole thing is pretty lightweight without feeling cheap. Looking forward to adding to my cordless Craftsman line up soon.

The item looks like it will do the job, it’s meant to do. However in removing the item from the packaging, we had a difficult time locating the blade. Nothing was labeled to indicate where it might be. The blade was finally located at the bottom of the box in side a flat piece of cardboard.

This is the 3rd warrantied saw u have gotten in two days and all 3 of then have a jammed open collar. When I called support I talked to someone who told me to return it and get a new one. I shouldn’t have to get a new saw every time I need to use it. Go buy a Milwaukee instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this saw for about six months and have used it for pruning, cutting scrap wood, cutting the top out of a 55 gallon drum, and trimming metal pipe. It has never struggled with any task it’s been put to, very pleased with the power and durability.
