Just ordered this blower after using one a friend owns. I’ve read the reviews and think people have bought this blower for uses that are a little beyond its capabilities. “It’s not a Leaf Blower” (Maybe can be used to blow off small patios and decks) but as stated in product description it’s a shop blower / vacuum and works great. I’ve used my back pack blower to remove saw dust and such off my work bench, chop saws, table saws, etc and it’s cumbersome to use indoors not to mention a hassle to start and put on. This little blower is a perfect fit. Also it a great way to clean garage floor instead of sweeping. Anyway hope this is helpful.

Perfect for small jobs around the house and garage. Very small and easy to use. I would buy something stronger if I had to do leaves or serious yardwork.

  3. patrick

Lightweight, easy to handle. Initial charge enabled about 25 minutes of continuous cutting, which was exactly what I purchased it for. It doesn’t have the cutting power of my older corded trimmer, and it certainly had a difficult time with branches 1/2 to 3/4 in diameter, regardless of the claimed efficiency in handling up to 3/4 inch.
A nice, lightweight, portable unit for shrubs and evergreens. Not suitable for heavy duty tree trimming.

  4. Tazerton

I love this little blower! Even thought it is quite tiny, it packs a powerful punch. I especially like the variable speed trigger. I use it almost every day during this time of year (December) when the leaves in our area are falling.

I really wanted to like this trimmer, but regretted buying it after just a couple of uses. After reading some of the reviews I did not have high expectations, but since I was looking for an economical cordless trimmer for limited use I took the chance. First, it is extremely low powered for anything more than very small trim jobs. The single trimmer line means you have to work twice as hard as a dual line trimmer and it’s .065 line is too fragile for many trimming needs. Also, I found the auto line feeding system to be awkward and of poor design. On the plus side it is lightweight, the battery seems to run long enough for my limited usage, and finally, it does meet my trimming needs, but just barely.

  6. Jethro67

It’s advertised as blower/vacuum but it doesn’t work well as a vacuum as the inlet is on the side and not convenient to hold. I purchased it to be a vacuum to suck up leaves around my house but it is way too small for that. I mean the inlet is maybe 1.5 inches and the bag is maybe .5 cuft

  7. KP

The hedger works great. Very satisfied with price and quality.

  8. OldCowgirlinAzle

I keep finding ways to use this powerful, small and lightweight cordless blower. It truly amazes me, or should I say it blows me away?! It was intended to keep garage clean of dust and leaves, but I’ve even used it inside the house (like blowing dust from behind a piano!) or ff the top of ceiling fans! And of course blowing debris out of and off of my truck.

  9. Rg222

Battery that came was dead. Would nut take and accept a charge. Would flash green, then red when placed in the charger. Because of this, I can’t attest to the functionality of the blower, thus the 2 star rating.

  10. Dafoot

I live in a small villa with a two car garage, short driveway and small patio in back. out side maintenance like blowing leaf is bone by a service. So for what I have to do between the scheduled service it does a great job. I can blow out the garage, driveway and patio two time on a charge. The only negative thing I can say is I would like to have a little longer blow tube so it would be a little closer to the floor surface.

  11. WeedEater

Requires a fully charged battery to perform. Battery doesn’t last long on a large scale yard.

  12. Johnny

I wanted something to trim various hedges quickly, and this did the job. It seizes up when I get over-ambitious about what I’m trying to cut, but that’s quick to solve for. And the best part: I can use the battery in the string trimmer I already have from greenworks, so at least part of this purchase will get regular use.

  13. Kirby 0608

Unpacked this 7/29/2021 used it about 30 and then trimmer head came flying off when I tried to screw it back on I noticed that gears were stripped of all the teeth

  14. Jake

Fitting connecting the gun to the pressure washer galled up and the pot metal casting broke while twisting it loose.

  15. Unsatisfied Purchaser

Product was WAY smaller than I expected. Neighbors laughed when they saw me using it. Battery does not last long at all. I bought 2 and used 1. The other one will be getting returned.

  16. Anonymous

Appears to be well made and works fine. Cutters are very sharp and the unit is light weight. The only down side is the charger. It takes 3 – 4 hours to recharge the battery. I guess I should have expected that for the price.

  17. Rich

I bought this online for convenience and now I have to take it 40 miles to the nearest to return it. This was small enough that my 6 year old grandson could use it. It says 180 mph, but some hair dryers have more power. This might be good for granny to blow some dust off of her porch, but if you have any thing real to move, I suggest something more substantial.

  18. Jimbob girl

This did not have the power that it says is should be. I didnt like its performance.

  19. Lacey

I am, for the most part, happy with the blower. It is lightweight and does have a lot of power to blow the leaves. I would be happier if it would hold a charge longer (it would be better for a small yard) and i was under the impression that the vacuum bag would have been bigger. I didn’t know i would have to buy a bigger bag. The one that came looks like a fanny pack! I specifically looked up and wanted to buy a vacuum/blower so that was a little disappointing

  20. Chrisgb54

This has to be the best blower, I have owned. SIZE does not matter in this case!

  21. Recalled

Bought this in 2020, and used it without any issues until in 2022 when I tried to disassemble the spray gun for storage, it won’t detach. I went online to search for any tips, and found out that Greenworks has recalled more than 1 mill spray guns back in 2021.

I was pretty disappointed that neither Greenworks nor tried to reach out to us about this dangerous defect (they can detach in use causing physical injury). could also easily let the customers know of this recall. Had I not have this issue, I would have had no clue and continued to use this dangerous spray gun.

Recall info below – see if your Greenworks products qualify. I ordered a free replacement on their website listed in the below link.

Out of the box, thought it looked small, for a kid. Quick setup (fully charged battery), and away I go. Light weight, first cleaned around car engine and wipers. Was IMPRESSED, and started on driveway(pine needles and grass clippings). Worked better than expected, just beware of loose clothing going into Intake. Wife than used on ceiling fans and also cat litter(wood pellets) cleanup. She loved the lightweight, easy single hand use and not too loud. KUDOS

  23. bkool

This tool is so convenient because of its compact size. We’ve used it for cleaning up spiderwebs, vacuuming out our trunk, working in the yard and quickly blowing off our porch. My wife also feels comfortable using it and it has found it much more efficient to use than a traditional broom. We look forward to taking it camping with us to help keep our tent and site clean. Its compact size makes it easily portable. This tool is a must have!

  24. Chetperk

I like the blower a lot, it’s small and not over powering for what it is intended to be used for. I especially like the fact that it can be converted into a vacuum to suck up particles off the work bench. My only concern was that both the tool and battery were over 3 years old when I got it, but customer service assured me the warranty goes by the date of purchase so remember to register your product and upload a copy of the receipt.

  25. Buck

This is not a leaf blower. As the box it comes in states, it is a shop blower. All data on how this unit should perform is incorrect.

  26. Gwd1

Trimmed along a fence line about 2/3 acre property. Battery lasted for the whole job. Second use I was able to judge better and adjust without cutting too short.
