Greenworks Pro 80V lithium 21 inch Cordless Push Lawn Mower, Includes 4Ah Battery and Charger is the best it’s class!

My Greenwork 21-inch cordless lawn mower included many good features such as: a durable steel deck, large 10-inch rear wheels, Smart Cut load sensing technology, single lever height adjustment and 3-in-1 operation for mulching, bagging, and discharging.
My wife loved it because it is so light and easy for her to use and navigate around.

Please do not under estimate this cordless lawn mower, it is well designed for durability and can handle heavy duty jobs, its brushless motor delivers the power and performance. Yes, it is powerful and delivers the same result as gas mower I have! Indeed!

I was so impressed with a single 40 minutes charge for my 80v 4Amp battery because my mower let me complete 3 consecutive weekly mows without the hassle of gas.

This mower can use either 2amp battery or 4amp model GBA80400) battery and rapid charger (model GCH8040). My chosen 4amp battery charges within 40 minutes.

In summary, We felt in love with our 1st GreenWorks Pro 80V Max System. We can cut our grass early in morning and late at night without brother neighbors with no noise, zero gas, zero emission and zero maintenance.

Thanks to Greenwork team who created a smart tool for humanity, sustainable environmental, and continuous improving your product line.

I recently received this mower. The flaps hing pin is broken causing the flap on the back you open to put the bag on to fall off. I’m not so worried about this because I bought this mower for it’s mulching capability which it does well. I don’t think I can use the bag because of this. The pin that acts as a hinge pin is made of plastic. As for how it lasts it’s too early to tell. But over all it cuts and mulches tall grass well. Just make sure to use the correct grade cord to prevent overheating of the motor.

After two years of thinking about buying an electric mower, I finally took the leap. I’m so glad I did! My previous mower was a self-propelled gas mower – perfectly functional, but heavy and awkward for my small lawn. This one is small, light, and easy to maneuver in close quarters. I can even make perpendicular passes in the narrowest section, to catch the grass that likes to lie flat and cause matting.

Thanks to uncharacteristic spring rains, my lawn has been growing 4+ inches a week, and the mower handles it without a problem. The lawn looks beautiful when I’m done. I’ve had no issues with clogging; and, because the mower is so light, I can easily turn it over and clean out the bottom when I’m done.

It does take some time to get used to the cord-wrangling; but it’s not unmanageable. I can easily operate the mower with a single hand if I need to hold the cord out of the way. And if I need to stop for a minute to readjust things, the push button makes it so simple to start back up again. No cord-pulling or fighting with cantankerous gas engines.

All in all, I’m loving it!

I didn’t realize this was going to be a step up from a toy lawnmower. Hahaha. It is so tiny it literally looks like a toy. It does a decent job but since it is completely plastic it has no weight to it. When going back and forth you typically lose the lane your on because the front will not stay down. You basically have to lift it up a little to keep the front wheels down. I guess for the price it’s a good deal, but I’d go bigger than14 inches for the deck next time

I’m 60 and have a small yard… great cost and easy to use, what more can you ask for!

My husband bought this mower it appears to me it has changed his life. He couldn’t wait to test it out! Well, he loved it and now he can’t wait for the grass to grow or leaves to be mulched. He can be seen easily pushing his new Greenworks mower around the yard with a big smile on his face. He says the bagger is the easiest he has ever used, the battery charges quickly and the light weight of the mower makes pushing a breeze. He somehow manages to bring up his new mower in conversation with all our friends telling them how fabulous it is. Never have I seen someone this crazy in love with his mower. Now he has a Greenworks weed eater ordered. I expect to see even less of him when that arrives.

Got this to cut the grass in the front yard and ended up using it all over the front and back yard. The adjustable height was very helpful and easy to use. Also the way the handle can break down and fold to store is very nice.

Just had a socially distant Thanksgiving on my newly mowed lawn… it was so easy to get it cut just right. My nephew loved running around around falling in the grass. He said: Let’s do Thanksgiving on the grass every year!

So far so good. The dual battery helps in covering entire backyard. Compact storage.

I used a Greenworks weed eater for a couple of years before “plunging” into their lawn mower. Admittedly by adding it’s battery to the mower I could get through 90% of my yard using self propelled mode. As I prefer the exercises of pushing the light device, I typically get though the entire yard in only ONE battery. I particularly love its ease in starting and quietness. No ear protection anymore and the neighbors could care less if I mow very early or late in the day. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!

simply doesn’t work. a battery problem. or is it the charger? all i know is that i waited 90 minutes to talk with someone, 10 days to get a replacement charger, and batteries still won’t charge. “can you expedite that replacement?” i asked. “we don’t do that” she said. i tried to call back to get a new battery but had to give up to get to my next appointment. bottom line: but it at a store so you csu just take it back when it doesn’t work. i ended up hiring a yard service.

I just bought a new blade, 20″, for my corded (powered with hydropower) mower. Blade worn out, but the mower works! There is no cord pulling, and pulling, no gasoline to purchase or smell. no motor to clean under for cooling since the design eliminated that need, and it is the catcher gives me more composable grass, needed, for my compost pile. Fossil fuel free with my string trimmer, 12″, and the Tesla in the Pacific Northwest!

I have never been happier with a mower. the ease of operating this mower is absolutely perfect. I’ve been mowing my lawn for over 40 years and have never been thrilled with the task. This mower made the job a breeze and i actually look forward to mowing! On top of everything else my neighbors on each side have complimented how great my lawn looks! Thank you Greenworks for making my life easier and creating such a functional tool

  14. DeAnne

I am impressed w the ease of set up and user friendliness for this 120 lb woman!! I actually enjoy mowing my little yard.
The unit arrived promptly and was easy to understand and set up.
I have told many folks about my experience and look forward to the ease of maintaining my yard and easy maintenance of the unit itself — no winterization concerns like a carburetor gas engine requires!
    Thank you sincerely,
    DeAnne R

i purchased this in the spring I really an very very pleased with this machine
I am eighty years old and weigh 110 this is perfect for me light easy to handle
I have kept my lawns mowed all summer I love the independence and I do not have to pay someone to mow my lawn and the price was great
Thank you so much I tell anyone who will listen about my little green machine

  16. Gwyn1

This is my third summer and it performs just as it did new from the box. It is intended for suburban lawns and not meant to cut overgrown properties. Used properly for what it’s made for and it’s a great machine to use. The mulching bag is fabulous for destroying fall leaves to then dump into compost bin. Just use it some realistic guidelines as there will be no trouble.

  17. Vic99

I bought a Greenworks lawn mower last summer and was so pleased with its performance I just bought a second one for our second home. It is light weight, easy to carry, maneuvers very accurately and recharges quickly. Being an ex-ballerina I have arthritis in my shoulders and could NEVER start my old expensive gas mower. I strongly recommend this fine product.

  18. SarNY2

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this mower! I had a hard time with my gas powered mower. This one is a breeze to start, push, and move around. I also love the mulcher. No need to rake your grass after this. I feel like I am vacuuming my lawn (and I LOVE vacuuming). I will recommend this to anyone who wants to switch from a gas powered clunker to a easy breezy corded option.

  19. Julis

I purchased this mower at the beginning of summer, and I LOVE IT! No adding gas, no pulling on a cord, no foul smoke coming from it. It always starts, cuts great, and is really lightweight to push. The only drawback is the extension cord. Since it is heavy-duty, it is a little unruly to drag around. The next time, I will buy a Greenworks cordless!!

  20. Bingo

I now have the following Greenworks products: 14″ mower that I use as an extended trimmer. I also have the trimmer, the blower, the expandable shrub trimmer, and I just ordered the pole chainsaw tree trimmer. I give all these products a five star rating. My new neighbor has ordered three Greenworks products after listening to me rant about your product.

I bought this tool 1 month ago, thinking that it would just be another terrible tool to go into the tool shed, but it turned out that it worked a lot better than expected. The lawnmower cut grass smoothly and kept its ground on slanted terrains. It never rusted, even when left in the rain and worked better than any other lawnmower I’ve ever owned.

  22. Coach Winnie

After 45 yrs of using a gas mower, I was surprised with a gift from my brother last week when my new battery operated mower arrived on my doorstep.
Something so light and small, I could not figure what kind of job it would do on my lawn.
It was the BEST cut my lawn ever had. I just love it and wish I had it many many years ago.

  23. Saucysarah

I bought this lawn mower for my mum because she was desperately in need of a new one. The day it arrived she set it up and plugged it in and it wouldn’t start. She asked a neighbour who fixes lawn mowers to help. Again…it wouldn’t start.
The one star is for the return process which was simple, quick and efficient.

  24. Anonymous

I bought this lawnmower in August and used it for the month of September. It worked beautifully for the month. It started instantly and cut my small lawn with a bag so I didn’t have to rake. In October it wouldn’t start and is deader than a doornail. I will never buy Greenworks again. Their product doesn’t last.

  25. aa5star

I’m older and wanted a lawn mower that I could handle without killing my back. At 36 lbs it’s perfect! It starts with the push of a button, is powerful enough for Zoysia grass (tough stuff!) and the charge has never run out while being used. It is also quiet compared to a gas run model.
