The Jorgensen cabinet master bar clamps are ideal for flat panel, box, cabinet, frame and panel doors assemblies or any other project that requires squareness or evenly applied pressure. Large plastic jaws assure the distribution of clamping pressure over large areas. The jaws stay parallel to assure squareness and prevent work pieces from bowing or lifting. Built in clamp stand allows clamps to stand upright for one handed use and easier/quicker sliding head adjustment. The sliding head can be reversed on the bar and the clamp then acts as a spreader. Opening capacity is 72 inches, clamping faces are 3-3/4 in. height and 1-7/8 in. width, high-carbon steel bar is 1-3/16 in. by 3/8 in., screw is 5/8 in. cold-drawn steel with special, smoothly cut acme threads, large easy to grip handle, and load limit is 1,000 lbs.
  • Features multiple clutch disks made from hardened and plated round edge high carbon steel

I always get great glue ups using my Jorgensen clamps. I won’t buy anything else!

  2. Philby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a set of these in order to build my kitchen cabinets, a major undertaking. They worked very well in constructing the cabinet “boxes” and even better when I glued up the panels for the doors; very little warping! They made a tough job, for this amateur, much easier.

  3. Kool02

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This will be a useful tool to have in the shop. Works well, not too cumbersome to use, and can help tackle some of the bigger cabinetry projects that I have ahead of me. I think that the quality is fine for what this tool is and was what I expected from the price.

I purchased my first set of parallel clamps a little over a year ago and after the first use for my cutting board glue ups I have purchased eight more sets with the last being only four days ago. The clamping pressure is the most even and probably the strongest out there for this particular style of clamp. Prior to my first set of Jorgensen’s I had tried many brands of clamps and I wasn’t ever fully satisfied but now I exclusively only use/buy Jorgensen clamps for my shop.

  5. Ken K

I’ve used a lot of different parallel clamps in my shop, along with pipe clamps, bar clamps, and other options for clamping panels and other big glue-ups. The Pony Jorgensen Cabinet Master is by far my favorite. The innovative smooth bar design eliminates concerns about marring the surface with the notched bars other brands have, and it makes it much easier to clean the inevitable squeeze-out mess. These are my go-to when it’s time for glue-up.

  6. Jake_Makes_It

I purchased these parallel clamps about two months ago, first set I have owned. I had never realized what I was missing out on. The even pressure and easy set up has improved my glue ups drastically, and more importantly efficiently. Time to upgrade and purchase some larger ones for future products! Cannot wait!

  7. John V.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cabinet Master clamps are the best parallel clamps I have used over the years. Other manufacturers have good clamps but the Jorgensen clamps are superior in my opinion. I have a few sets of different lengths so can handle both large and smaller projects. One difference that shines for me is the clamping surface area of the heads are larger than the competitors giving me more confidence during my glue ups. The locking mechanism itself has never failed me and is easy and smooth to set in place. They are also rugged which is perfect in a workshop where they see lots of use. I would recommend Cabinet Master parallel clamps without hesitation.

  8. farmered

bought these a few month ago, they have worked great.

  9. ZMROTU

They say you can never have too many clamps and I’ve tried to take that adage to heart in my shop. But, the truth is, when push comes to shove… I’m always reaching for my Jorgensen parrallel bar clamps. Stout, Sturdy and Versatile Jorgensen are my go-to clamp! I can always depend on them helping to keep things square and putting the pressure where it’s needed. They are even more useful when I run out of hands-on a tricky assembly because I can evn get them in position and clamped with only one hand.
So; I say,”You can never have too many Jorgensen clamps!”
“Please Sir, May I have another?”
    😀

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to add 18″ length to my inventory of parallel-jaw bar clamps. The Jorgensen Cabinet Master fit the bill and was competively priced. The clamp is well built with comfortable easy-grip handles, and the jaws slide easily along the sturdy bar. A few twists of the handle apply ample clamping pressure, and the jaws are remain true when holding the work piece securely. The only quibble is there is a bit of manipulation needed to get the handle alignment just right to slide the moving jaw into place making one-handed adjustment awkward. (Every woodworker could use an extra hand, or two, on occasion.)

  11. Seanri528

I needed some parallel clamps for a door and went to my local big box hardware store searching for them. Found the Jorgensen clamp and right away I could tell it was well built, felt right, and would do the job.
It was super easy to use and the clamping pressure was phenomenal! Doors came out great and I was EXTREMELY PLEASED that I purchased them. So much so that I went back and bought 10 more! Highly recommended!!

  12. Seltek.ss

Excellent clamping force, I like the new style handles they are very easy to grip and rotate. I have both the older ones with the maple handle and the new ones with the rubber grip. I like the parallel style clamp because it does a better job of applying the clamping force evenly without marring the workpiece. I literally have a wall of the from 24″ to 48″

  13. Ron0126

I bought these 24″ Jorgensen Cabinet Master Parallel Clamps several months ago and primarily use them when I’m building cutting boards. Despite their heavy weight, they’re remarkably easy to use and apply strong, even pressure. I plan to purchase more and highly recommend them. Note the Jorgensen Classic Adjustable Handscrew clamps in the background too!

  14. Surfskifish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a number of different cabinet clamps in the shop/. The Jorgensen is the clear winner and is the one I reach for first. The threads are finer on the Jorgensen, allowing more pressure with less work. The bar design makes it easy to scrape glue and clean afterwards. All in all, this is my favorite clamp in the arsenal.

  15. Wood Chuck Charlie

I make several cutting boards, lazy susan’s, & tables of all sizes and shapes. They are my go to clamp. Setup is easy and with the stiff fingers I have I really like the grip I can get.

  16. Trailer park woodworker

they seem nearly identical to the original maker, i like the rubber grips better and seem just as strong as older versions. Smooth action, a good solid clamp

  17. NYFalcon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy using my parallel clamps for large tabletop glue ups. I even started to purchase smaller versions so that I can use them for smaller projects. My one feedback if I had to make a change on the features is that I wish there was a way to keep them with a set distance. What do I mean? When I remove the clamp the jaw immediately slides down to meet the head of the clamp. If I have my hand there it’ll be a painful moment. Solution take clamps when they are laid down instead when they are in the vertical position but that’s not always the way I position the clamps.

This is the best Parallel Clamp, great for my old hands

  41. jerry1833

Awesome clamps. It almost doesn’t make any different whether you clamp at the tip….or deeper in the clamp…they stay parallel and do a great job keeping everything in one plane. If you are doing several glue ups..they stand up on the large top head of the clamp. 2 clamps on a large glue up…are surprisingly stable when standing up..so you don’t have to give up bench space waiting for things to dry. If you are used to pipe clamps you will be very pleasantly surprised with these. They are $ but they are worth it in my opinion. Really nice clamps.

I now have multiple Jorgensen clamps. My favorite and mist use is the parallel cabinet clamps. Although used on cabinets, 90% of the time they are used on other wood projects. I love the utility, I love the strength I love the little to no deflection on longer glue ups. I especially love that they do not have the small grooves or notches for glue to get trapped in, or mushroom over making the sliding end of the clamp hard to move and position. Highly recommend and if I’m ever able to break one or wear it out I’ll be buying more!!

  43. Preston

I have seen using the these clamps for a few years and love the quality and the price of the clamps. I have used them with numerous furniture builds and craft projects. I have this brand in multiple sizes from 4 inch to 50 inch. They have never failed me. I would highly recommend buying this brand of clamps. One major point on these clamps is that they all open at least an inch past the spec opening. So a 36 is clamp opens up to 371/2 which makes a great feature when building. Most other brands only open to the exact size.
