This faucet is terrific. First, the kit has everything you could need to install. This would be a medium to easy level install with all the pieces they have provided. The mechanics connect smooth and easy. No leaks and no challenges with threading anything on. The handles and faucet have a clean look and perfect finish.

It installed this and it took about 1/2 hour. The drain that is included is a press down to close. These rock, I will never go back to the old rod design. The handles turn smooth yet there is enough friction that it really feels solid. Nothing was loose at all.

Note: Show your spouse the dirty sink after you remove the old faucet…mine was appalled by the built up dirt and cleaned it…she said it was easier to do with the faucet out of way and I didn’t have to do it!

Overall this is an easy item to install. The drain connection was the biggest issue. I had to shorten the vertical drain pipe.

I ran in to one other issue with the cold water handle…the hex screw was turned a few threads to far and wouldn’t fit over the valve. Unscrewing it was simple, it just took a few seconds to realize why it wouldn’t fit over the valve. I converted a single all in one bathroom sink faucet to a three hole. Note the minimum width on the box is 8″ but you can make it work 1-2 inches smaller. Just check your dimensions first and the valve hole diameter.

The plastic multi function tool was handy.

It was the first time I got a faucet set that came with so many nice features. I mean this faucet set has a quick push drain, the spotless water feature is really nice so you have that long lasting look for a life time. The best thing about the product was the quality all the parts were durable, it looks great and all the pieces needed to install were include. From the finish, to the easy install, and the elegant look it offers the best of everything. I was amazed as this was the first time I’ve used this brand and it didn’t disappoint. The best things about it was the setup because you don’t need plumber putty and the entire setup has great seals without the worry of a mess. This product surprised me In a lot of ways and it aimed to set a new standard when it comes to adding a new look to any bathroom space.

Pfister Rancho has a slick and elegant design, and the push and seal tool less drain assembly definitely adds to the pleasant surprise and makes it much easier to install. Overall after installing the unit there are a lot of improvements that made the installation easy-breeze.
Such as click and snap hose connections – although still to find out how long they will last as they are made from plastic – that is somewhat of a concern.
The only thing that I did not like was the Quick install tool – while it did the job for tightening the nuts for the valves and it’s a well designed to get it done, but it is a too bulky for the use of tighten the nut for the fauset long bolt – I had to look for another tool (see attached photos).
I have a suggestion to include the supply lines. In my case I removed a faucet which had its own lines attached to it and I had to go to the hardware store to buy those lines – they could be standard 12inch – if some places needed longer then they had to supply their own.

This fixture is beautiful. The nickel finish is very modern and stylish. While installing it, the hot and cold nobs were difficult to attach to the valves. They are supposed to sit all the way towards the sink but they aren’t screwing all the way down.

Having a vintage vanity, I wanted to go with a modern faucet. When I seen the Pfister Rancho Spot Defense Brushed Nickel 2-Handle 8-in Widespread WaterSense Bathroom Sink Faucet with Drain, I knew it would be perfect! It was super easy to install and came with everything needed. Plus the push drain is amazing! No more pulling that little metal rod behind the faucet to close the drain, just push to close and push to open! The beautiful curves make it so elegant and look great on my vanity! Definitely recommend it!

The first thing that stands out about this faucet is it’s appearance. It is every bit as attractive in person as it looks in the photos. The brushed nickel finish is gorgeous and goes with almost everything. Also, the fittings and connectors are almost all metal, which was nice to see. It seems like pretty much everything is plastic these days, and plastic just doesn’t hold up. The one plastic piece on this faucet is the hose connector. It installed easily, and seems solid, but only time will tell on how long it will last. The handles have significant resistance (in a good way). When installed, the whole build feels very solid.

The set comes with everything you need to install it. It also comes with a plastic multifunction tool that you can use. I had my own tools, but for those who don’t, this is a very cool idea. All-in-All, this was very easy to install. The directions were clear and the pieces even had directional markings on them so you couldn’t accidentally install it backwards.

I would absolutely recommend this product.

I have changed out a few faucets in my time, but this one gave me a bit of a challenge. The sink I used was an old porcelain traditional style sink that I had to literally cut the pipes to remove. The holes in the porcelain were to small for the new set so I had to grind the opening to make them fit. Once that was done though the rest of the install was smooth and pretty self explanatory. The brushed nickel finish is clean and looks good with the wood backsplash. The quick connection to the water supply was refreshingly easy.

This faucet installed very easily, especially with the help of the included installation tool. I installed this faucet on a pedestal sink, which had much less clearance than the typical sink base cabinet would afford, so the included install tool didn’t always fit the way it would in most applications. Therefore I did have to use some of my own tools, but that was due to the pedestal sink, and not due to the design of the faucet.
This faucet has been installed for a couple of weeks now, and there have been no leaks even with daily use by our kids.
The “footprint” of the spout and handles is minimal, so the stains from the old faucet and handles are visible. I thought I could scrub them off, but obviously nothing I tried worked. So just know upfront that if you use this as a replacement faucet, you may have visible stains from where the old faucet was. This faucet did not come with any optional cover-up rings/pieces to help hide those stains, so just be aware that could be an issue depending on your situation.
I thought the installation directions were well written and had ample diagrams to explain each step. The only time I had any issue was with installing the handles onto the valves. My first one went perfectly, but my second one was 90 degrees off because I assumed the valve was in the closed position when I installed the handle on the valve spline. Had I then checked the valve’s position instead of tightening the handle to the valve, I would have saved myself a little bit of trouble (but truly not much, so that being the biggest problem I had is a good thing).
This faucet features “Spot Defense”, “It’s like a forcefield for your faucet!” From what I can tell, this makes the water bead up on the surface, which minimizes the water spots on the surface after it is used. That feature, along with the brushed nickel appearance (as opposed to polished), keeps this faucet looking cleaner than it would otherwise appear. And being as I haven’t felt the need to clean this faucet even after weeks of use, it clearly works!
I like how the aerator is inset into the spout. It is significantly smaller because of that, but it still provides enough water to wash one’s hands, and the stream/column of water is practically flawless. There are no little streams or “spits” of water going off the sides…it is an almost prefect stream of water.

This is an attractive faucet, I’ve installed several faucets but this one was slightly challenging installing it on a pedestal sink. We had the sink removed because of a floor renovation so it was decently easy to install. My number one issue was the shape of the install tool that comes with the product. The arms on the tool make it impossible to install the handle valves because they are on both sides of the tool, you can’t turn it in a tight space. Same issue with trying to install the gold piece (on the faucet part) once you put the gold part in the install tool, you can’t turn it! Not sure if anyone would have this issue on a non-pedestal sink. Of course this isn’t a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. Attractive faucet and overall very happy with it.

Very nice Faucet hot/cold valves feel solid when you close them, will go with almost any interior design choices ,the spot defense is amazing so far no complaints. DIY friendly installation is easy.
Only complaint is that there is a I seam down the sides of the faucet that could accumulate soap deposits. See picture.

Pfister faucet has a spot defense on its surface to help keep it looking clean. It has a push to seal drain, its easy to install and looks great. This faucet is very well built and it will last a long time, it fit our sink great.

This is a really nice faucet. I love the fact that it doesn’t leave fingerprints on it.
Installation was pretty straight forward. I’m not a plumber by any means, and managed to do it reading the instructions, in about 40 minutes. This included removing the old faucet.

The kit provides you with all the adapters you need for the water lines. It will fit 2 different sizes.

I really love the way the snap lock lines connect, so if you even need to replace it, it’s quick and painless.

Water flows really well through it. I thought it would be slow and limited but it’s not.

The push up stop is a real nice touch. I don’t particularly use it in the bathroom, and probably never have but it’s nice.

Overall it seems very solid and well built. No leaks on the first try. Thumbs up on this one!

The Rancho faucet with spot defense brushed nickel finish is beautiful. It is a very substantial faucet with great lines. It was easy to install with great step by step illustration to help you along the way. My only complaint was that the hot side arrow that was supposed to face the sink bowl in order to operate the lever properly was put in backwards. This caused the hot lever to push back in order to operate instead of pull forward. I just rotated the arrow toward the wall instead of toward the sink bowl and it installed without a problem and works great. Could be a problem for a less skilled DIYer but it was a simple fix. Maybe better quality control may have caught this. All in all I love this faucet!

I replaced my builder-grade single center-set bathroom faucet with the Pfister Rancho Spot Defense sink faucet with drain. First off, this will work, but it is tight. There is a reason why the description says “widespread.” It really should, in my opinion, be used in a bathroom that already has a widespread cutout.

With that said, it is a really good-looking faucet and the installation process could not be easier. I had no issues taking the old faucet off and installing the new one. In fact, it only took me about 20-30 minutes and that is with me having to pull a few wrenches from my garage. The kit comes with almost everything you need, including an installation tool (like a hand-wrench of sorts) that allows you to twist on the nuts without defaulting to your go-to metal wrench. I really like the quick-connect water line connectors. Super easy and really convenient.

The only thing I do not care for is the pop-up drain. In fact, if you were thinking that you might want to use the old pull-up drain and skip the drain install, make sure you are aware that you will not have that option. You must replace the drain. Maybe it is just me, but I do not care for having to put my hand in whatever funk I just put in the sink in order to release (open) the drain.

Overall, I like the faucet, though I deducted one star for the drain setup.

I was really interested to see how the Spot Resistance worked before the install. I took both handles out of the bags, the handle on the top of the picture was never touched. The bottom, I gripped and released . NO SPOTS.

I then left droplets on the handle to dry. After several hours, the water droplets didn’t leave a mark! I’m very impressed with the spot resistance feature.

I am pleased with this install. I chose to use it on a normal spread countertop, contrary to what this set was made for. I opened the holes about 3/8” outward to make it fit. The finish is nice and is certainly resistant to spotting. I like that the aerator does not require tools to remove, just a coin. There is a handy wrench to snug the mounting bolts. Hoses to the valve are not included. There are adapters to go from plastic tubing to faucet threads, this creates an extra connection. It would have been nicer to have braided hoses that were long enough to reach the wall valves. The faucet has a nice feel and easy turn handles. The push bottom drain makes the install much easier than trying to adjust a lever stopper.

This Faucet is perfect for my granite countertop, has clean looks and works great with my 3 hole widespread mounting. The Faucet installs quickly and easily, only needed a crescent wrench to connect the waterlines, the kit has a tool in the box to assist in installation.

It took much longer to remove the old faucet then to install this one. looks great and hopefully it will continue to look good over time.

This faucet was easy to install. It took about 45 minutes all together. I like the pop up stopper better and they install much easier than the ones with pull up handles. The great thing about this is it is a never leak faucet. The brushed nickel looks great, does not spot with water and is very modern looking.

I’m a plumber so I’ve seen my share of faucets. I can say this isn’t one of those cheap plastic faucets you have to replace in a couple years. Solid product. I’m happy to recommend this faucet to my customers.

First off faucet has nice curves. Well boxed and organized. Simple instructions and product is made so it’s very hard to mess up the install. Love the pop up drain this offers compared with traditional models. Love how this looks on my sink.

This really is a nice faucet setup. All of the valves and mechanical parts are well made and should last a long time. The spot defense could be a nice feature if you live in an area with hard water. We don’t have much of an issue with spotting on the faucet, but that is where one of the things I didn’t care for cam into play. Because of the water quality the aerators need to be cleaned frequently and the aerator on this faucet can not be taken out simply by hand. Not a deal breaker, but still not ideal. The faucet itself has a seam line that makes it look kind of cheap, but in a way it gives it a uniformity to the seam on the handles where the handle meets the base of the handle. the faucet itself seems to be well made. One thing that I was glad to see incorporated is the push button drain. I have seen issues with this type of drain once they are old, but in my opinion it is a much better design than the old pull rod type. All in all, this faucet is of good quality and I feel it will last a long time. even with the small details that are not my favorite, I will be swapping my other bathroom out to this as well.
