We used a manual tile cutter for our backsplash in the kitchen. It worked fairly well but we wasted a lot of tile and especially with complicated outlet u shaped cuts. We bought this hoping to get the last 6 tiles cut to finish the project. I am so happy with this saws ability to cut tiles without a single bit of waste. I highly recommend for a DIY project!!! I literally cannot wait to start the next tile project since I have full confidence in this saw.

The saw worked better than expected. When using, just cut the tile with the backside facing up and you will have no problems whatsoever. The only thing I didn’t like is the appearance of the box leads me to think it was a return. There was a perfect square cut out which seemed to be a shipping label. I rated the saw based on performance, and not on the possibility of it being a return. I’m unhappy about the possibility of being sold another return by ( the first was an appliance and the delivery guy told me as he was wheeling it in) but the saw performed.

Bought this for a kitchen backsplash DIY project to cut 3*6 marble tiles. Worked great! Easy and fast set up even for first time DIYer. Saw itself is of exceptional value. I considered renting and saw this at . The price for buying this and one day rental is basically the same. The saw rail’s alignment needs checking/ verifying after adjusting as it may not stay perfect parallel to blade after locking one bolt at one end, but this is not an issue for small job.

I have used this saw in the past. Old one have up after a number of years. .Best low cost tile saw in the marketplace. price on this saw was really good. Would recommend this saw for any DIY.

I have one of the larger tile saws that requires the hose connection but didn’t want to do that in cold weather. So, I decided to get this portable one and, in my opinion, it beats my larger one hands down. Just for small areas, I would recommend this saw any day. So glad I purchased this. It’s already making my job easier.

  6. Tando

Little workhorse. Used it to redo the master bath shower. Lots of cuts. For the price and quality of the cuts, it’s impossible to beat. Would’ve been rough without it.

I used this for backspash and couldnt be happier with how it performed for the job. Cant wait to use it for other jobs

  8. Donkey

Motor could use a little more power, but for small jobs it worked great

I was going to be tiling a backsplash and a large area above my stove so I purchased this saw. This saw worked great. It is an awesome saw and just what I needed to get the job done.

  10. Krayven

Easy to use. Had about 5o sq ft of mosiac marble tile to install for a back splash. Had to cut every sheet. This saw did the job. Was my first time using a tile saw and doing tile work.

  11. PJMc

Saw was indispensable for installing backsplash around irregular openings and receptacles

  12. Jallen

Bought this to complete a large thin brick job and it performed as well as wet saws used in the past that cost close to a $1000. It is cheaply made and the blade may not last mulitple jobs (material depending) but well worth it. This little booger paid for itself quickly.

The guides on the plate are unreliable, but, once you figure that out, this saw is awesome .I was ripping 24″ tile with it and it worked great. You have to wipe out and refill the reservoir every few minutes to keep things clean, but it was worth it. I would definitely recommend for your DIY project.

this is my second SKIL and they have always been dependable. No frills, but gets the job done.

was not expecting much in the way of amenities for the price. But very pleased with the cutting performance. You have to improvise for irregular cuts but again expected that. All the constructive reviews were helpful. A good little DIYer for the price.

This wet saw worked great on 2” by 4” porcelain mosaic marble for my kitchen backsplash. Only problem was inability to initially secure the top guard. Gorilla glue solved this for a while…
