This Swann Fortify camera system is wireless as far as WIFI signal goes but needs the wires it comes with for power supply and looping them together. The system comes with four cameras that connect to the Swann Security App where all the cameras can be controlled. These camera system is really easy to set up, just down load the App then connect all the cameras and you can be viewing locations around the house in no time. The longest part of the process is running the wires. The main camera has the its own hotspot where the WIFI will connect too and give you a live feed. The rear of the main camera has a SD card slot in a water proof area and can record all the video for all four cameras, the picture quality is great and it comes with a night vison setting also. Overall the cameras are great if you want to keep an eye on things around the house.

I got this security system for the fact that someone stole my sons bike off the back porch. Simple setup make this a great add on for any home owner or renter who wants to make sure your stuff stays your stuff. Simple plug into power and hook up your Wi-Fi and your pretty much set to go. Sdcard recording and smart phone alerts and controls let you know what’s going on at all times. Records in full 1080p, let’s you talk to people on the other end, and allows for night time vision. Great buy and great system.

I am a DIY’er kind of person so it does take some basic knowledge but this is an easy install. Simply run power chords to the cameras in the attic and set them up in the app. I also love that there is 4 cameras rather than 2 or 3 like most security systems. This was a great upgrade from my old system because now I can watch the side of the house as well. The quality of the video is exactly what it needs to be and the night vision is really cool. Overall the App is also easy to use and makes sense.

Before I installed the Fourtify Wi-Fi Security System, I was nervous that the process would be complicated and time-consuming. Thankfully, my fears were unfounded; installation was quick and easy. The cameras are wireless in regard to signal transmission, but, obviously, they require a power cord to each unit. That was expected by me, but for some reason, when I was installing it, my 8-year-old daughter thought “wireless” meant that it required no wires whatsoever (not something that an adult would assume). Once installed, the picture quality of the cameras is exceptionally clear and the night-vision feature in rather impressive. This security system is exactly what you need if you just feel like you need an extra pair of eyes (or two pair of eyes) watching out for things around your home.

I am so impressed with the clear, crisp picture and the ease of installation of the Swann – Fourtify Wi-Fi Security System. I was able to get everything installed and operating within an hour. I have eyes all around my property now which makes the wife feel a lot safer. We also like the talk / speaker feature which lets us ward off any intruders. We only had to use it twice but thankfully we were able to see the culprits in action with the Swann Fourtify WiFi Security System!

We have had a more expensive security system but it seems the cameras break after a few months. Enter the Fourity system. Pros-its easy to install. Very user friendly for even non technical people. Quality cameras that are built to last. Amazing video quality. App is easy to navigate.
Cons- wish the cameras lasted longer than 30 days between charging. As you can see, we totally recommend.

I got this because “you can never have too much security” right? Well it comes in efficient packaging and clear instructions…. But…. This is a totally wired system. So even after you’re done, you’re not really done because you have to mindful of hiding all the wiring that connects these cameras together. 3.5 stars is probably a more accurate rating but that isn’t an option so….

The night vision on the cameras are very good crystal clear picture quality day and night. The motion detection is very good it picks up the slightest movement. I have zero complaints with these cameras Cams were easy to set up and install. Phone app works as intended I totally love the2 way audio to greet or warn people coming into my property Overall, highly recommended

My home is like a fort now! I don’t have a huge house so this package allows me to see every square inch of property. It was easy to install and I love the main camera is able to “talk” to the other three. Being in a remote area it makes my wife feel extra safe when she’s alone. So far we mostly have caught wildlife on the cameras but that’s just as exciting.

Swann Fourtify wifi security system has been a great addition to our home! The piece of mind of having 24/7 access to video feeds from anywhere in the world is crazy awesome! I found the install to be very simple and have ha zero issues with the app dashboard.. I would definitely recommend this system to both family and friends!

The fourtify wifi camera system is a great quality system. It was easy to set up and connect thru wifi. I can watch everything from the app, which was also easy to set up. The only thing I’d change was so the cameras didn’t have to be wired into each other so we could spread them out a bit more.

The swann fourtify wifi security cameras and Farley easy to install. The kit can with 4 cameras and one of the cameras is your main that the 3 other camera cables run too. You just need one plug outlet to power all 4 cameras, the app is very easy to understand

We were looking for a home security system, and this one seemed to fit the bill really well. With lots of different cameras, and the ease of setting it up, we highly recommend this! Being able to see different angles for a security system is a must for us.

The Swann Fourtify system is pretty solid. My only complaint is the wiring that needs to be run, as there are other products out there that don’t need to be wired. Aside from that, everything is great. Quality video, easy to use app, overall pretty good.

I installed this myself and it was so easy to understand how to do and setup to watch the cameras instantly. They are very clear and provide great 1080p quality viewing both live and in replay. I love being able to view these on the go or out of town.

I like the product in general and images are clear, but the wired cameras is not ideal, older technology, and hard to install. Everything is wireless nowadays and much easier to install and a cleaner look. Though for the price it’s a decent product.

It’s got way to many wires the one camera didn’t wanna connect with it and you gotta pay for it monthly it’s not bad but not something I’d be interested in adding more cameras too I don’t care for it at all you mite I don’t personally

If you’re looking for a no-frills multi-camera system for your home that doesn’t require a subscription, the Fourtify is a great option and a very good value.

Starting out with the only negative (and it may not necessarily be a negative, depending on your use case), this is a wired system. Essentially, the ‘hub’ camera plugs into a standard outlet, and cameras 2, 3, and 4 must be physically wired into the hub individually with 2 cables each. So unless you can get creative with threading through walls, there will likely be some visible spaghetti.

Aside from that, however, the system does relay all images back to your home wifi, and live imagery is immediately accessible at all times via the app. The app itself is adequate; images are clear but movement can occasionally appear choppy (not a deal breaker). The hub has a slot for an SD chip for keeping a rolling record. That’s optional, but the kit includes a 64gb SD card – about 2 weeks of storage – which is pretty cool.

Finally, my favorite aspect of this system is that you’re not pressured into a monthly fee structure. You can, of course, pay for cloud storage and other perks, but it also works perfectly fine as a stand-alone system.

I absolutely love this system! It was simple to install. The only thing I can complain about is the hardware it came with (screws, nuts, bolts, etc.) wasn’t the best. It was ok, but I ended up using my own screws and bolts I had in the garage. As far as installation goes, it is really simple and straightforward. Install the main camera first, then install the other three. my only suggestion would be to make sure of your installation location for your main camera because all other cameras connect to it. The main camera has sound, high-quality picture settings, and low-quality picture settings. Really smooth video on high-quality setting. Color picture, night vision at night, and they are fully adjustable tilt and turn. The main camera has audio and you can speak through the camera to someone who is outside your home. It also has an alarm sound similar to a home security system alarm, but not very loud, just enough to scare off intruders. You can take snapshots, and record videos also. It has motion sensing but also has a feature that will tell you when it is specifically a person it has detected. Not sure if it’s heat sensing or something else. The sensors on the cams are very, very sensitive, but you can adjust the sensitivity as needed. All cameras come with a very large amount of cable for each camera. I didn’t measure the cable, but I’m going to say that it is between at least 50-75 feet of cable per camera. And lastly, probably my favorite feature. I love the fact that I can check my cameras when I am not at home. If I’m in the store or anywhere away from my home, I will get alerts. And I can just randomly check the cams when I want.

Having a sigh of relief is all I can ask. And that is what I have found with this security system.

While many other brands offer more on the “high tech” side, this fourtify system has not only met my expectations but exceeded them on a few fronts. What I noticed immediately is the simplicity of not just the package itself, but the clear ease of use when setting the system up.

Connect the main camera to your wifi (or optional lan “hard wired” internet) through the Swann App and follow the instructions. Then connect the extra 3 (or a many as you need of the included) cameras using the lengthy and easy to connect cables. Everything is diagramed for the set up including which cable to connect to which camera.

For a normal size home there is plenty of cable to reach around the perimeter (citing our home as example). Once you find where you’ll place the main camera, the others just follow suit. We only have 2 setup at the moment, but that will change once I get the proper equipment to place the other camera where I would like.

The image quality at first was way worse than I expected for an hd camera system. Once I realized I had to set it to “hd” and not “sd” I was delighted at the image quality. While it may not be the new “4k” standard, I find it to be more than capable of being clear and easy to view through the app.

I noticed there was some buffering as this was to be expected on all cameras, but that is just due to my internet speed. I’m sure a higher bandwidth would be perfect for this system.

The motion sensing works great and it does tend to go off with the slightest movement, but after some fine tuning with placement and the settings in the app you can find a happy medium. I know I did.

The night vision was something I was really looking forward to, and considering the old camera system we own currently was a cheaper brand, this Swann system easily surpassed it. I know it may sound elaborate and extreme, but in comparison it’s night and day (pun intended).

I really am thankful for the included SD card and ability to save recordings on there and not being forced to subscribe to a service. That’s not saying I wouldn’t think about subscribing to the Swann service for cloud save and peace of mind, but having that option to not means a lot to me personally.

One thing about this system I find to be probably the most difficult is the installation choice. You can opt to have professional installation and pay for the service, but it is not essential because installing this “theoretically” is not that difficult. Hiding the wires is the main concern and at least they are thin cables which make it better. Having the entire system wireless would have been great, but considering this is not that kind of system, it’s a moot point.

With an easy setup, convenient and simple app, and everything you essentially need in the box (minus some hardware to install) you can’t really go wrong with this Swann Fourtify system.
