“he powerful 16” 14.5 Amp Electric Chainsaw is packed with modern conveniences that make it easy to use. The auto-tensioning and auto-lubrication systems make sure this saw is always in peak operating condition. These features provide the user with a perfectly tightened and well-oiled chain, which not only significantly increases the cutting efficiency, but also extends the life of the tool. And the built-in oil tank has a window, so you can see just how much oil you have left. The chain brake shuts the chain down quickly when you need it to. The metal spike bumper grabs into the wood so you have a safer, smoother cut. And the specially designed full-wrap front handle and rear rubber grip give you options to find a comfortable hand-hold. This saw has a 14” cord. The extension cord holder keeps them out of the way and lets you unravel more as you need to. And it’s only 11 lbs without the oil, so anyone can carry it around the yard and use it for long periods. The 14.5 Amp motor uses a 120V~60 Hz power supply and spins the chain at 32 ft/s. The 16” chain will fell a standing tree of 16” in diameter and easily cut up a 30” log that is already on the ground. That chain has 57 links, and a pitch of 3/8”, and a gauge of 0.05”. This is a rugged chainsaw, made so that anyone can tackle backyard projects with confidence.

I purchased this saw to use for “weekend warrior” logging and sawmill operations. I have taken down some hardwoods and softwood trees with it. The machine has ample torque, and will run continuously very well. I also use this saw (with a ripping chain) to mill logs into lumber. I have milled up maple, cherry, elm, and ash logs. The saw goes all day long and is ¼ the volume (sound) of a gas saw. I use this chainsaw to mill in my shop as well. No fumes!

I bought this electric chainsaw over a year ago to make log furniture for a cabin I am building. I decided to try it on all of the trees that were downed from the site. NEVER expected it to perform this amazingly well! Me and my son kept this thing busy a full day with absolutely no issues. We finished all of the largest logs in one day. Unbelievable! BTW, we did all of this with one blade (the one that came with the saw) and no sharpening required. I am speechless!

I am blown away with how this chainsaw performed and I would pit it against ANY gas chainsaw!

I have cut wood since I was little. Preparing a gas saw, mix, gas, oil, trying to start, breaking cord, and smelling like gas when done. I bought this saw after using a smaller off brand for around the house and I will never go back to gas. As long as you have power, it will start every time, no loud motor, no gas smell, shuts off immediately, and hands/arms don’t get tired. No neighbor has ever complained and I have been out late using it. This saw has plenty of power easily cut thru 12 inches and trimming was simple. The cord is no different than watching out for your feet and legs. I would recommend this saw to anyone tired of making gas motors try to run.

I bought mine about 3 1/2 years ago and had only used it sparingly to trim branch and make other small cuts. Just a few days ago I had a rather large cherry blossom tree that needed to come down. I started trimming the small limbs up high with a small pole saw I have, but began to cut the major limbs and eventually the trunk with my 16” Worx chainsaw. I was a concerned that I might need to get someone with a larger gas powered saw to cut the big stuff, but decided to try anyway. The Worx saw did the job. Check out the pictures below. Although I don’t expect to make cuts like this on a continual basis it was great to have this tool in my shop and get the job done.

Caledon Ontario got smacked with an ice storm last week. Much of Ontario did and I picked this as my tool to clean up 2 large fallen trees. It was amazing. Shocking in fact. I bought an extra warranty at the cashier to give you an odea of how sceptical I was of this for the price. If I got stolen tonight, I’d buy another one tomorrow. Now I’m going to remove some ugly apple trees… Always hated them and now it’s a simple request to get rid of them.

i bought this saw after researching and reading reviews on various chainsaws. I chose to go with electric because i dont often use the saw and need it to work whenever i take it out. Most of my cutting is around the yard so the wire limitation is not an issue. My first cut is a 20 inch tree and this saw didnt have a problem going through it. The only problem i had is having to reajust the chain because the saw debries were building up and causing the chain to get loose. Beside this it was what i expected from an electric chain saw. Happy with this purchase. Ps remember to go and purchase a 50-100ft 14 gauge extension cord.

I was looking for a saw to break down firewood and pallets for my back yard chiminea. This is perfect!

This electric saw is powerful, clean, and quiet. There is no fuel to go bad, as often happens in 2 cycle equipment that is not used on a regular basis, or batteries to fail. This is NOT a suitable tool for cutting mountains of wood, or for use more than 25-50 feet from a good A/C outlet. I’ve cut around 1 1/2 cords of wood and 15-20 pallets, so far, and I’m still thrilled. The chain tensioner works great if you read and follow the instructions.

I suggest pouring the chain oil back into a storage bottle if you’re going to leave it sitting.

Bought this after borrowing a friend’s gas powered that was a mess to start and keep started. This ran like a champ and did quick work of a 24″ diameter oak tree. After pics, they don’t include safety goggles, gloves and closed toed shoes.

i bought this chain based on the reviews i have been reading on this site. I must say that i am not disappointed at all. I cut up a fairly large branch of a tree tonight and I have several more back yard tree felling projects that this thing will be able to handle. This is going to save me a lot of money not having to hire a tree expert to come in and get rid of these trees.

Needed a chainsaw to cut a large pine tree that had fallen into my deck and didn’t want to spend a huge amount of money as I don’t know if I will ever need it again. Was going to buy the Polaun 16″ but the reviews were sketchy, saw this at the store and was impressed by the reviews. Chainsaw performed so much better then expected and made quick work of the tree which had a good 14″ base. It is a pain dealing with the power cord, but this is normal for electric tools. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive but powerful chainsaw, I would highly recommend this one.

Purchased Worx chain saw after recent wind storm damaged my tree. Money tight as it is, the chain saw price, bar and motor size, were attractive for the storm cleanup. Took the saw out of the box, read its directions, filled it with oil, and put it to work. I was impressed with the saws overall performance and its slight “kick” when started. The 14.5 amp motor displayed its value and strength when making large cuts. Keep in mind to check the oil reserve after a few minutes of operation for the saws oil capacity is not generous. Like any electric tool, take your time with it an it will perform well.

I bought this chainsaw after a tree fell down in our yard. After reading reviews I bought this one. All the reviews seem to bear out that this is a good chainsaw. The only problem I had was tripping the breaker when the tree was as thick as the blade itself. If I could have found a 20 amp breaker I would not have had this problem and I plan on finding one in the future. I found out this is not for big trees, but that is not what I got it for, it sliced through 10 inch thick branches and smaller with no problem, it was when it got up to 25 inches thick that the breaker started tripping. I have never used a chainsaw before and I cut up this 50 foot tree with the help of others in two days.

I used this saw to cut down two 30ft Black pines….It worked great. I left the saw do the work….had to adjust the chain a few times just like the instructions said I would have to. The easy turn no tools chain adjust was great. I would recommend this saw ….I used a 12-3 heavy duty cord and the saw had no trouble cutting thru 15″ logs. I added a video link…had a little trouble getting the wedge out but that was not the saws fault…you have to connect the cuts.

Bought this saw today, I was getting tired of pull starting gas saws, I was a little scared about buying electric, but boy am I glad I did, this saw cut like hot knife in butter, there were some 10″ rounds , no problem at all, Not heavy at all but looks that way. The chain came off when it got stuck, but that was on me, having to much fun and not paying attention, It took all of 2 min to put it back on, I am buying another one , just beacuse I can, Great price and with a 10% off in store, You gotta get one, you will love it,’

I had a few basic level gas powered saws that I have always had trouble to keep running. After reading all of the reviews I decided to go with electric to trim up around my yard and cut a little firewood. It works great. On the second cut it went right through the extension cord like it was nothing. Watch your cord and if you do not have a GFCI outlet outside purchase a GFCI pigtail for about $30 in electrical aisle. Oh by the way, I’m a safety engineer. I’ll never hear the end of this.
