The Worx MAKERX Air Brush is more nimble than other air brushes, due to its slim form factor. But because it’s backed by a 20V battery, it’s actually more powerful, and lasts longer on a single charge. There’s no need for an air compressor, it’s just your MAKERX Air Brush and the Hub going where you go. With its precision 0.4 mm nozzle, it excels at fine, detailed jobs, like tiny crafts of all kinds. Its pressure rating is 14-18psi, and the dual function trigger controls its 7 L flow capacity. It comes with a dropper, spanner wrench, and cleaning brush in the box. MAKERX has created crafting and hobby tools that are smaller, but more powerful—the secret lies in the Hub. It’s a power source that you can take with your tool, so if you want to work in the middle of a large space, you can, and still have the power to get the job done. Thoughtful design allowed Worx engineers to make these tools slimmer, so you can hold them with more precision, and provide a level of detail to your projects that’s not possible with other tools. This model doesn’t come with the MAKERX Hub or a 20V Power Share battery, but that’s by design. Because if you already have a Hub and a battery, there’s no need to buy it again. It’s a great way to save money as you build up your MAKERX tool collection.

  • [HUB + FLEX CORD] Every tool on the MAKERX platform is powered by the Hub and its rechargeable 20V Power Share battery (Hub and battery not included with this model). The Hub is the only portable 20V power system for hobby and crafting tools on the market

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an experienced, handy 56 year old guy. I love my tools and own many Worx products, but this tool is terrible. Using acrylic/water color paints, the mixture is typically 50% water and 50% paint, but this mix plugs the nozzle and pops off the paint cover, spattering paint everywhere. When I get a mixture almost 90% water, the paint comes out in splotches. This is the first time using the tool…which has next to zero documentation on cleaning or troubleshooting. It is silly needing to find a YouTube video to figure out how to clean a tool. Then, while trying to take apart the tool to clean, the ultra fine nozzle cracked at the threading. Also, the needle free slides and does not work with the trigger. I am trying to return/exchange but this was a gift.

I purchased this before Christmas and am impressed with the technology, however as usual the so called owners manual leaves a lot to be desired, for instance why include a wrench, dropper, and brush but no information in manual as to their useage. Also no information as to where one might get a new needle, nozzles or any other part except a whole unit. Just seems that such a simple explanation on these things should be included.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice unit, but with a bit more information either on line or in the manual could make these even more desirable to purchase and use, thus the 3 star rating.
As far as recommending to a friend it’s a maybe.

I had to buy a battery separately and then purchase a charger for the battery because it didn’t come with one. Got it working and went to use it finally with some water-based paint, couldn’t even get it to spray a fine line. then the trigger got stuck. I had to disassemble it completely to find a piece wasn’t placed right. the directions only say to not take it apart at all, doesn’t show how to disassemble or reassemble it and on the website it only says to follow manufactures directions which i dont know where these directions are. its good in theory but i could have went to Michaels and got a better setup for way less.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Your user’s manual is about as useful as a windshield wiper on a goat’s butt.

I had to take mine apart to clean the paint out, it dried inside in no time. Now there is a little thing a do that I don’t know where it goes. If I had a diagram I would know, right.

Come on folks, document your equipment. Now I have to stop my project until I can call customer service during their hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After my “Maker Airbrush” came I’ve been up in the air over what I can do with it! I painted five pictures! I found the battery supply line that powers the airbrush non-invasive while giving me the power from the 20v battery! Just like and maybe better than the bunny it just keeps going & going & going to make me the best artist I’ve ever been! I love the Maker Airbrush!!” I have five products from “Worx” that help me do the job know matter what is when I’m using the “Power Share System!” It’s the system that really WORX!!$

The reason I am only giving this a 4 star rating is because I was a bit disappointed that it only had one tip with it and I don’t know what tips I will need to get for it now. It works fine and is very easy to clean. Worx please look into making an accessory kit for this tool that has a few different types of tips. I know that makerx is a pretty new branch for worx and that they will be able to make products and accessories to enhance their line.

This was a gift from my daughter and I don’t have the heart to tell her it worked only one time and even that experience was terrible. the 2nd time I tried to use it the springs and BB’s fell out of the pump that are to hold the airbrush to the pump. Also if you don’t dilute the paint by about 90% it will not spray properly or not at all. When it does spray it will run because of how thin it needs to be to be able to exit the nozzle.

This was my first time using an air brush tool, so I didn’t really know what to expect. I was amazed! I had the idea to create this decorative cork board to hang my earrings on. So I stuck a stencil in there and went to town! It was so easy to slide into place right out the box to begin using. I was even able to mix colors and enjoy the effect of that. It doesn’t get much better than this.

Barely a month into the purchase of this AirBrush and I am totally disappointed in it!
It is constantly clogging up (yes I have diluted the paint to almost water viscosity). I also noticed that I can not find parts anywhere for it let alone different sized needle / nozzle options?? actually looking at possibly seeking a return or something right now!!

I love the portability of the MakerX system, the airbrush included. It is very easy to get started, even if you’ve never airbrushed before. The design was well thought out, including how to clean. I also use it for pushing air into alcohol ink projects. Two thumbs up!

the packaging insinuates that this ready to go from the box, however to use this air brush with the maker x air pump you need to spend another $150 in battery and accessories.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice, convenient airbrush with decent power. Works really well for painting models and such. A little pricey, having to purchase the hub, battery & charger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great for small projects like I do, portable for using everywhere instead of being tied to a air compressor.
